I wonder just how many twinkies have been carted around in the oh so cool metal lunch boxes over the years. Those famous cakes of "gold" could be traded for almost anything in lunchroom. The person with the twinkies would get many offers, but rarely would you see a deal take place. Nothing could compare to the melt in your mouth goodness of the soft, spongy cake with the sweet, fluffy, white frosting in the middle!

Be sure to get your Twinkie before they're all gone! : )

"Leavenworth"

"Leavenworth"
8x8 in Oil on Museum Quality Panel

One of the most breathtaking views to behold in the winter is the little village of Leavenworth. Nestled in the peak of the mountains of Washington, with a brilliant display of lights that make the entire town sparkle! Christmas time brings horse drawn sleigh rides and children sledding down the hill in the center of town while you sip hot cocoa and stroll along the shop windows. It's simply magical!

I have decided to offer a "Holiday Special" on this painting..to view click on the following link.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Paradise in Panama

"Paradise in Panama"
8x8 in Oil on Museum Quality Panel
$350

I was born in Ancon, Panama near the canal zone. We moved back to the states when I was still a toddler so I don't have any memories of my experience there. However, my parents have several great stories they like to share about our life in the jungle.  Maybe someday I will have to go back for a visit. : )
I really wanted to paint a tropical scene today because it seems like foreeeevvveeer since I've been to a warm beachy place! There is something about the palm trees, sand, and waves that is just so soothing and this painting of Paradise in Panama makes me want to break out a beach chair, kick back and say Aaaaaaaah!

Life is Good...
